Product description
How to Use
The KIN Orthodontic wax strips are specifically developed to prevent irritation caused by orthodontic braces on the oral mucosa, gums and tongue.

The wax strips are solid when in the packaging but can be softened and shaped by the natural warmth of the hands.

When smoothed onto the area of braces or wires that are causing pain or sores, it sticks to them and creates a protective layer between the brackets and the gums.

KIN Orthodontic wax remains smooth while in the mouth and harmlessly flakes away or peels off as it breaks down.

Break a small piece of wax and apply it to the wire, bracket or orthodontic appliance that is causing the discomfort as follows : Wash your hands
Brush your teeth with appropriate OrthoKIN Toothpaste and Orthodontic Toothbrush.
Tear off a piece of KIN Orthodontic wax about the size of a small pea
Roll the wax in your hands to soften it and then roll it into a ball, then flatten it slightly
Apply the soft wax onto the painful area of the braces. Can be applied to both brackets and wire. Your tongue can also help push the wax in place.
If a wire continues to cause pain or comes our of its place, contact your orthodontist so that they can adjust it. The Orthodontic wax can be left overnight however it is not recommended to keep the same piece of wax applied for more than 2 days. The piece of wax should also be replaced if it gets dirty or if food gets stuck after eating.
